The Playbook

Guides nobody
else writes.

Everyone has an air dribble tutorial. Almost nobody will tell you when tostop going for the ball, when a demo is griefing your own team, or what queueing with your Gold friend actually does to your rank. That is the gap we write into.

House Rules

We tell you how it actually is.

  • No score has ever been bought. If a product is mid, we say it's mid and link it anyway so you can decide.
  • No wheels. Rocket League is controller or keyboard+mouse. Anyone selling you a racing wheel for RL has never played it.
  • Skill first, gear second. Most of what you think is input lag is a decision you made 1.2 seconds earlier.
  • We publish the boring wins. Rotation, boost economy, and knowing when to bail don't make montages. They make Champ.

The Loadout

Gear we'd
actually buy.

Scored on what it does for Rocket League specifically: trigger travel, polling, panel response, not on a spec sheet a marketing team wrote.

GameSir G7 Pro Review

The best value controller for Rocket League right now: Hall-effect sticks mean no drift, at a fraction of premium controller prices.
