About

We just want the mechanics that actually work.

Stinky Left Foot exists because most Rocket League content is either outdated, written by someone who's never touched ranked, or padded to hit a word count. We test settings, we run the gear ourselves, and we cut what doesn't help.

It's a club, not a company

There are two of us. We're not an org, we don't have sponsors, and nobody here is getting paid to play. What we have is a shared standard for how to play and how to write about it, and we made it public: the creed and the roster are here. If you play by it, you're in. There's no application.

What we cover

Mechanics breakdowns (air dribbles, ceiling shots, flip resets), rank-climbing fundamentals, camera and control settings that actually change your gameplay, meta and patch coverage, and honest gear reviews (controllers, keyboards, mice, monitors, headsets, and chairs), bought and tested, not sent to us for a favorable writeup.

The part we care most about is the half nobody else writes: gamesense. When a demo is worth it and when it's griefing your own team. When to abandon a play you've already lost. What tilt actually costs you in a session. Those guides don't make montages, and they're the ones that move rank.

The name

Here's the easter egg, once, and never again: "Stinky Left Foot" is the actual 3-mans team name Jesse and his kid play under in casual and ranked. It's an inside joke that stuck. That's it. It's not a running bit, there's no foot content pillar, and it's not coming up again on this page or anywhere else on the site. We just liked how it sounded better than anything more "on brand."

How we make money

This site runs on Amazon affiliate links, see the full Affiliate Disclosure. Commission never decides a ranking. We write the verdict first.
