SLF LIVE
  • Guides written by players who still lose games
  • No sponsored scores. Ever.
  • Demo timing guide is up, read it before you go for the bump
  • Gear picks: controller + KBM only. A racing wheel is not RL gear
  • Every setting on this site is one we actually run
  • Club roster: 2 humans, 1 questionable team name

The Roster

Two members. That's the whole club.

Everything on this site was tested by these two, badly, at 11pm, in a ranked queue we probably should not have been in.

Stinky

Captain / Rotation Enjoyer

Plays last man on purpose, takes the boring boost, has never once won a highlight-of-the-week award. Writes most of the gamesense guides.

Career demos: fewer than you would think

Left Foot

Striker / Ceiling Menace

Goes for everything, lands roughly half of it, and the half that lands is genuinely unstoppable. Responsible for every mechanics guide on this site being tested under real pressure.

Career demos: too many

The Creed

Five rules we don't break.

01

We say the thing

If a product is mid, we write that it's mid and link it anyway. If a mechanic is overrated at your rank, we say so instead of selling you a tutorial for it.

02

Boring wins count

Rotation, boost economy, and knowing when to bail do not make montages. They make Champ. We publish them with the same production value as the flashy stuff.

03

Nobody buys a score

No brand has ever paid for a rating, a placement, or a kind word here, and none ever will. Affiliate links are how the lights stay on; they are never how the verdict gets written.

04

Mute is a mechanic

We do not flame teammates, we do not argue in chat, and we do not write guides that treat your teammate as the problem. You control your positioning. That is the whole list.

05

No wheels

Rocket League is played on controller or keyboard and mouse. Anyone recommending a racing wheel for this game has not played it. This is the least negotiable rule we have.

Joining

There's no application.

We're not running tryouts and we're not building a Discord empire. Joining the club means one thing: you play by the creed. Read the playbook, mute on entry, stop challenging as last man, and tell people the truth about gear.

That's it. No form, no rank requirement, no dues. If you want to tell us you're in, or argue with something we wrote, and please do argue, we'd rather be corrected than confident. The inbox is open.
